It's such a shame when projects like these go down, and I've been debating for a while whether it was time to add the gearsets back (Eorzea Collection actually started as a gear collection like xivstyle). Hey, u/aethistium! Creator of Eorzea Collection here! For anyone who’s found this post from googling what happened to xivstyle, hi! u/siredeonx of Eorzea Collection has integrated the screenshots from XIVStyle into his website. My long-term goal is to tag all of the photos so you can search for glamours by level/job/gender, but since there are so many pictures, that will take me a very long time, haha. I structured it similarly to XIVstyle for the sake of simplicity. In case it wasn't clear, you can navigate through the albums using the "Albums" menu in the top left hand corner. If someone else wants to take the pictures and contribute to the gallery for any missing item(s) or sets, I'd be happy to host them as well. If that's something someone can help me set up, I'd be happy to learn. While it's still a work-in-progress (I still have a lot of sorting to do), I thought I'd share it as is: Īs much as I would like to be able to update the gallery, I don't know anything about running my own model viewer or private server. ![]() ![]() When he made the decision to shut it down, I didn't want the resource to be lost to the community, so I asked him if he would send me the ~20k screenshots he took, and offered to host them in a sorted image gallery. Since maintaining a website is a project of passion, I fully understood why he didn't want to continue with it anymore. There are a variety of factors that contributed to this, including the expensive website costs and the original webmaster losing motivation for the project. ![]() You may have noticed that XIV Style has been shut down.
